Close to the north end of Hatteras Village with ocean views from both upper floors, this unique oceanfront home is a great getaway for the whole family.

The ground level game room, accessed via its own entrance, features a foosball table, futon, TV, and Wii, making it the perfect retreat for the kids. Relax in the hammock or enjoy a picnic in the shade on the patio area under the house while enjoying the music of the ocean on the other side of the dune. Lockable storage and a short walk to the beach via a shared boardwalk put days in the sun perfectly within your reach.

Enter the main house via the front stairs to the second level. The oceanfront king master bedroom with TV and walk-in closet opens to the partially shaded deck with stairs to the ground. The kids will sleep tight in the bunk bedroom with trundle bed. The oceanfront queen bedroom with TV also opens to the partially shaded deck. Soak your cares away in the hot tub while watching the waves roll onto the beach on the oceanfront deck. A full bathroom and the laundry area are also on this level.

An additional queen bedroom and full bathroom are on the top level. Take in ocean views from the living room, dining area, and kitchen with breakfast bar and dual refrigerators, a haven for the family chef. Step out onto the sundeck off the dining area for sunrise views and salt breezes that will delight and refresh you.

The soundside beach is just minutes away for kiteboarding, kayaking, and clamming. Drive to the nearby marinas to spend a day off-shore or in-shore fishing. Explore the variety of local shops and restaurants, or take the scenic ferry trip to Ocracoke Island for an unforgettable day trip.

  This home has everything for our family! We love Hatteras Village and the location of this house is perfect! We have been coming here for 5 years and will continue to do so. There's plenty of room to spread out inside and outside. The boys always enjoy the game room, pool, and beach front. The adults relax in the ocean view hot tub. It has a great kitchen with plenty of refrigerator space and an awesome ice maker. The new paint and decor are very "beachy" and calming. The owner and people at Shore Details are the best with which to work! See you next year!

  We have visited this same home since 1996! Our three generations have experienced hurricane flooding, a mandatory evacuation for a massive power outage, college breaks and medical emergencies here! We have also shared glorious ocean views, dolphin sightings, family mischief and merrymaking! Every year there is something new! This year it was a new pool and giant sea turtles in the water beside us. We will be back next year to our "home away from home" Who knows what we will discover in 2020?

  We had a wonderful time ! 😎 The pool this year is a spectacular addition ! We did the VayCay rentals-Awesome 👍�� I will say the sidewalk to the pool is a must to finish. We had a large Rubbermaid container with water the dip feet before entering the pool. Great house does need some towel bars in the bathrooms 👍��

  Staying at Dolphin's Reach was the perfect vacation for our family. The house is plenty big enough and having all the linens there on arrival was a big plus. We even ordered beach chairs to be waiting for us upon our arrival, a very good service that we took advantage of! The weather was very accommodating and the surf was perfect. Watching the dolphins across the ocean while drinking our morning coffee was a bonus. Skim boards, boogie boards, sand castles, day adventures, fireworks on Ocracoke, family dinners, and go carts were just a few things we enjoyed. The ferry ride over to Okracoke was easy and free. We especially enjoyed the night time campfires on the beach in front of Dolphin's Reach while the kids chased crabs and ate S'mores. We look forward to our next visit! :)

  Dolphin's Reach is ideally situated on the beach and on the less populated part of Hatteras village. The house is well equipped and recent upgrades to the bathrooms makes this a welcoming home. The swimming pool is a great addition, although not heated provides a welcome break from the ocean. This home allows dogs which is a great bonus for us as we have 2 "Aussies" who need that romp on the beach.

One of my favorite things about the house is the gorgeous ocean views from every level! Because it is on Rt 12, it is very easy to find, and there is so much to do within a few miles drive.   We had a wonderful time with close family and friends. Our French Bulldog's favorite spot was the deck off the kitchen. It was so nice that we didn't have to worry about him getting out. We loved the hot tub and hanging out by the pool. The house was clean. And the kitchen was fully stocked. The view.... we were all up early to watch the sun come up taking early walks on the beach. Location is perfect with views from every room. Management company was very responsive when we needed an extra garbage can- they assisted immediately. We already want to go back again!
