''We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Periwinkle 1 at Ocracoke Island. The duplex was perfect for my family of 3 plus 2 fur babies. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We were located in a quiet neighborhood made up of year round residents and rental properties. We were very close to restaurants and shops, which could be easily accessed via a short walk or bike ride. We chose to rent a golf cart for the week which I would highly recommend for others. It was really nice to get out several times a day to check out the happenings on the island. Another nice bonus were the bicycles/kayaks that were provided with this rental, which we were able to use. Ocracoke is a unique vacation in itself. Very relaxed, beautiful, and non commercialized, with amenities that you appreciate on vacation such as numerous, delicious dining options, live music most every night, cute shopping options, local arts/crafts, etc. We will be back!''
